Jeff Tolan

At the operational core, heavy equipment direction, and field leadership of JT's Tree & Landscape, Inc. is Owner Jeff Tolan. Serving homeowners, commercial property managers, and municipal entities throughout the Metro West area and surrounding Massachusetts communities, Jeff brings over 40 years of dedicated tree care industry experience to every job site. Based in Ashland, MA, Jeff leads his locally owned and family-operated business with an unwavering commitment to property safety, technical precision, and complete customer satisfaction.

Jeff’s primary area of technical expertise centers on high-risk, complex tree removal, large-scale hazard mitigation, precision pruning, and emergency storm damage clearance. Managing mature, towering trees near residential structures, power lines, and tight property boundaries requires advanced rigging mechanics, structural load calculations, and precise drop-zone control. Jeff specializes in utilizing heavy crane equipment for complex removals, allowing his crew to systematically disassemble hazardous, decaying, or storm-damaged trees safely without causing harm to surrounding lawns, roofs, or outdoor structures.

Jeff began working in the tree care trade four decades ago, developing a deep understanding of New England arboriculture, tree species biology, wood decay patterns, and regional weather impacts. After years of honing his skills in the field, Jeff officially transitioned into running JT's Tree & Landscape, Inc. full-time in 1997. Over the past nearly three decades of full-time operation, Jeff has established his company as a premier local authority in complete tree care and landscape management.

Over 40 Years of Industry Mastery, 24/7 Emergency Response & Crane Capabilities

Since taking his business full-time in 1997, Jeff has built JT's Tree & Landscape, Inc. around speed, safety, and reliability. New England weather can bring sudden, severe ice storms, nor'easters, and high-wind events that compromise tree integrity and create immediate structural hazards for property owners. To support the community during these critical moments, Jeff provides 24/7 emergency storm response services, featuring same-day appointments and rapid dispatch when urgent tree hazards arise.

Operating a fully licensed and insured business, Jeff ensures that every member of his crew adheres to strict arboricultural safety protocols. To deliver maximum value to Metro West property owners, Jeff offers competitive pricing backed by price-matching options, free detailed estimates, and dedicated discounts for active military members, veterans, and senior citizens. Every project executed under Jeff’s leadership comes with guaranteed workmanship, reflecting his four decades of confidence in his team's execution.

Jeff believes that clear communication and direct owner involvement are essential for a successful service experience. Whether consulting with a homeowner on tree preservation options or directing a full-day crane removal operation, Jeff personally oversees project planning and execution to ensure job sites are left clean, safe, and immaculate upon completion.

Dedicated Sports Fan & Ashland Community Partner

Outside of managing daily field operations, operating crane machinery, and responding to emergency tree calls across the Metro West region, Jeff is a huge sports fan. Whether following local regional teams or keeping up with national sports leagues, Jeff brings the same energy, team-first mindset, and competitive drive to his sports fandom that he applies to running his business every day.

Jeff’s deep roots in Ashland, MA, and his identity as a family-owned business owner shape his community-first perspective. He views every client not merely as a service contract, but as a local neighbor who deserves honest advice, fair pricing, and uncompromising safety standards. His combination of 40-plus years of trade experience, 24/7 emergency availability, specialized crane equipment access, and guaranteed workmanship makes JT's Tree & Landscape, Inc. the trusted choice for tree removal across the Metro West area.
